[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 안성민 부산광역시의회 의장이 2일 오전 시의회에서 기자회견을 열고 차기 지방선거 영도구청장 출마를 공식 선언했다. 안 의장은 이날 ‘가장 영도다운 방식으로 영도의 위기를 극복하겠다’는 포부를 밝히며 본격적인 선거 행보에 나섰다.
■ “체념의 영도 넘어 자부심의 영도로”
안 의장은 출마 선언의 일성으로 “영도가 영도를 이길 수 있는가”라는 질문을 던졌다. 그는 과거 대한민국 경제를 지탱했던 ‘깡깡이 소리의 영도’와 현재 인구 감소로 지친 ‘체념의 영도’가 공존하고 있음을 지적하며, “우리의 자부심이 체념을 이기고, 내일이 어제를 뛰어넘을 때 비로소 영도의 진정한 승리가 시작된다”고 강조했다.
이어 이번 선거를 외부와의 전쟁이 아닌 ‘내부의 가능성을 깨우는 여정’으로 규정하고, 영도의 가치를 재발견하는 ‘현장의 세공사’가 되겠다는 의지를 피력했다.
■ 영도 재도약 위한 ‘6대 핵심 공약’ 제시
안 의장은 영도의 고질적인 문제 해결과 미래 먹거리 확보를 위한 구체적인 6대 정책 비전을 제시했다.
우선 주거 및 인구 대책으로 ▲빈집의 인구 회복 기회 전환을 내세웠다. 산복도로 일대 빈집을 신혼부부에게 저가로 공급하고 체류형 관광과 연계해 정주 인구를 늘리겠다는 구상이다. 경제 활성화 방안으로는 ▲커피산업 클러스터 조성을 꼽았다. 원두 확보부터 로스팅, 수출까지 이어지는 산업단지를 만들고 청년 스타트업을 지원해 영도의 미래 성장동력으로 삼겠다고 밝혔다.
획기적인 교통망 확충 계획도 포함됐다. ▲영도를 부산 교통의 중심지로 만들기 위해 봉래산터널과 연결되는 동삼동~가덕도 대교 추진, 태종대~부경대 트램 건설, 산복도로 및 이송도 도로 확장, 수요응답형 버스 도입 등을 약속했다.
이 밖에도 ▲전 세대 통합 도시(공유형 캠퍼스 및 평생교육관) ▲남항 시대 개막(남포역 환승센터 및 관광 인프라 확충) ▲해양수도 부산의 중심 도약(해양수산부 관련 기관 유치 및 해양치유·레저산업 육성) 등을 주요 공약으로 내걸었다.

■ “낮은 자세로 혁신… 국민의힘 원팀 승리 자신”
정치적 각오와 통합의 메시지도 잊지 않았다. 안 의장은 최근의 정당 지지율 상황을 의식한 듯 “시민들을 직접 만나 그간 국민의힘이 부족했던 부분에 대해 용서를 구하겠다”며 “자중지란을 넘어 자기혁신의 길을 가겠다”고 고개를 숙였다.
또한 조승환 지역 국회의원을 비롯해 지방선거 후보자, 당원들과 함께 ‘강력한 원팀’을 구성해 새로운 영도를 만들겠다고 다짐했다.
그라면서 안 의장은 “영도는 이미 빛나는 원석이지만 이를 깎아낼 정교한 손길이 부족했다”며 “영도를 가장 잘 아는 현장 전문가로서 거친 원석을 부산의 보석으로 승화시키겠다”고 덧붙였다.

Ahn Sung-min, Chairman of the Busan Metropolitan Council, officially announced his candidacy for the Yeongdo-gu District Mayor’s office during a press conference held at the City Council on the morning of the 2nd. Ahn presented a detailed vision focused on resolving chronic issues and securing future growth engines: ▲Housing & Population: Turning vacant houses into opportunities by providing them to newlyweds at low costs and linking stay-over tourism with permanent residency.
▲Future Industry: Developing a comprehensive Coffee Industry Cluster—covering bean sourcing, roasting, and export—supported by a youth startup fund.
▲Transportation Hub: Building a bridge connecting Dongsam-dong to Gadeokdo Island to improve access to the new airport, constructing a tram line, and expanding major mountain roads.
▲Generational Integration: Establishing a Lifelong Education Center and a shared campus for college students and seniors.
▲The Namhang Era: Cooperating with neighboring districts to build the Nampo Station Transit Center and revitalizing local alleyway businesses.
▲Maritime Capital: Attracting the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and its affiliates to Dongsam Innovation District to build a maritime cluster, including healing centers and smart shipbuilding industries.
■ "A One-Team Victory for the People Power Party"
Addressing the current political climate, Ahn struck a humble tone. "I will meet the citizens directly to seek forgiveness for where the People Power Party has fallen short and strive to become a party that is loved once again," he said.
He emphasized a "One-Team" approach, vowing to work closely with National Assembly member Cho Seung-hwan, local candidates, and party members. Ahn concluded by promising to transform the "rough gemstone" of Yeongdo into the "jewel of Busan."
