브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국마사회가 오는 12일까지 10일간 과천에 위치한 렛츠런파크 서울에서 2026 벚꽃축제를 개최한다. 올해의 테마는 ‘馬시멜로’로 한층 달콤하고 감성적인 봄 축제로 꾸며진다.
렛츠런파크 서울은 말과 벚꽃이 함께하는 국내 유일의 이색축제를 표방하며 매년 25만명 이상 방문하는 수도권 벚꽃명소로 자리매김하고 있다. 방문자수 기준으로 경주 대릉원, 서울대공원 등에 이어 전국 7위 수준이다.
올해는 ‘마시멜로 감성’을 더해 한층 풍성해진 콘텐츠로 방문객을 맞이한다. 벚꽃길 야간 경관을 중심으로 야외웨딩 컨셉의 쉼터와 포토존을 비롯해 회전목마, 말마캐릭터 맥주 등 감성형 콘텐츠가 확대된다.
특히, 붉은 말의 해를 맞아 말의 역동성과 봄의 생명력을 극대화해 힐링을 제공할 승마체험, 미디어파사드, 국립과천과학관의 과학 전시회 등 프리미엄 콘텐츠도 다수 준비돼 있다.
