양 기관은 4월 1일 간담회를 열고, 올해부터 만 55세와 66세를 대상으로 처음 시행되는 폐기능검사 도입 취지와 현장 운영 과제를 공유했다. 이번 제도는 만성폐쇄성폐질환 등 주요 호흡기 질환을 조기 진단하기 위해 마련됐다.
이날 간담회에서는 검사 장비 도입, 운영 방식, 표준 프로세스 마련, 인력 교육 등 실제 적용 과정에서 필요한 과제들이 집중 논의됐다. 더불어, 지역 내 암검진 수검률을 높이기 위한 공동 대응 방안도 논의 주제로 다뤄졌다.
김태욱 건강관리협회 대구지부 본부장은 “새로운 폐기능검사가 현장에 혼선 없이 안착할 수 있도록 건보공단과 적극 소통하겠다”며 “암검진 수검률 향상과 지역 주민 건강 증진에도 힘을 모으겠다”고 밝혔다.
김인태 국민건강보험공단 동부지사장도 “제도 정착을 위해 검진기관의 역할과 현장 의견이 중요하다”며 “앞으로도 현장과 지속적으로 소통해 보다 나은 건강검진 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
