대전광역시 농업기술센터가 지역 청소년들의 가슴 속에 푸른 농심(農心)을 심었다.
대전농업기술센터는 4일 센터 본관과 관내 청년 농업인이 운영하는 딸기 농장에서 ‘2026년 대전광역시 학생4-H 연시총회 및 과제교육’을 개최했다.
이날 현장에는 대전 지역 학생4-H 회원과 지도교사 등 110여 명이 모여 행사를 주도했다.
이번 연시총회에서 회원들은 지난해 거둔 알찬 활동 성과를 되돌아보고, 2026년 한 해 동안 펼칠 창의적인 활동 계획을 수립하기 위해 머리를 맞댔다.
또한, 학생들은 지·덕·노·체를 상징하는 4-H 금언과 서약을 제창하며 올바른 민주시민으로 성장할 것을 다짐했다.
지역 청년 농업인이 직접 운영하는 딸기 스마트팜을 방문해 생동감 넘치는 농업 현장을 직접 경험할 수 있었던 과제교육도 큰 인기를 얻었다.
나아가 여러 학교에서 모인 회원들 간의 경험 공유와 소통의 시간도 학생들의 활동 노하우 등 시야를 넓힐 수 있는 소중한 기회였다는 평가를 받았다.
이효숙 농업기술센터 소장은 학생4-H 활동을 통해 학생들이 자신의 잠재력과 리더십을 일깨울 수 있게 되길 바란다며, 지역사회 중심의 교육 및 체험 기회를 지속적으로 마련하는 등 미래 인재 양성에 힘을 보태겠다고 말했다.
