브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 삼성은 정부의 에너지 절감 정책에 대한 참여를 확대하고자 지난 3월 25일 차량 10부제를 실시한 데 이어, 이를 차량 5부제로 확대 시행한다고 6일 밝혔다.
이번 조치는 글로벌 에너지 위기 상황에서 정부의 에너지 절감 기조에 부응하고, 기업 차원의 추가적인 절감 노력을 강화하기 위한 취지다.
또한, 정부가 이달 1일 공공기관 차량 2부제 및 공영주차장 5부제 시행 등 에너지 수요 억제 조치를 발표한 데 따라, 기존 조치를 한 단계 강화한 것이다.
삼성은 운영 중인 국내 모든 사업장에 대해 차량 5부제를 자율적으로 시행하고, 임직원들의 참여를 적극 독려할 방침이다.
삼성전자 등 관계사들은 6일 사내에 해당 내용을 공지하고, 정부의 공공기관 차량 2부제가 실시되는 8일부터 시행할 예정이다.
단, 전기∙수소차, 임산부∙유아 동승 차량, 장애인 사용 자동차, 격오지 사업장내 차량 등에 대해서는 기존과 동일하게 예외 적용하며, 사업장 여건에 따라 일부 업무 차량 등에 대해서는 탄력적으로 운영할 계획이다.
이 외에도 삼성은 차량 5부제와 함께 기존에 시행중인 사업장 내 절전 활동도 지속 병행해 일상에서의 에너지 소비를 함께 줄여 나갈 방침이다.
야외 조경, 복도, 옥상 등 비업무 공간 조명 소등을 유지하고 휴일 미사용 주차 공간 폐쇄 및 소등 조치를 이어가는 한편, 퇴근 시 PC∙모니터 전원 OFF, 실험장비 대기전력 차단 등 임직원 참여형 캠페인도 지속 실시해 에너지 절약 실천을 정착시켜 나갈 계획이다.
