법무부, 대북송금 사건 수사과정 비위 감찰 중인 A부장검사 직무집행 정지

(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 법무부가 지난 6일 법무부장관이 대북송금 사건 수사과정에서의 직무상 의무위반, 수사 공정성에 의심이 가는 언행 등 비위로 감찰 중인 수도권 지검 A부부장검사에 대한 직무집행의 정지를 명했다고 밝혔다.

법무부에 따르면, 검사징계법 제8조에 따라 검찰총장 직무대행은 6일  A검사에 대해 직무집행을 정지해줄 것을 법무부장관에게 요청하였고, 법무부장관은 비위사실의 내용에 비추어 A검사가 직무를 수행하는 것이 현저히 부적절하다고 판단하여 직무집행을 정지했다.

현재 대검은 2차 종합특검에 이첩된 수사 사건과 별개로 서울고검의 ‘인권침해점검 TF’를 통해 A검사에 대한 감찰을 진행 중으로, 감찰 결과에 따라 신속·엄중히 조치할 예정이다.
