(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 계양구가 4월부터 2026년 상반기 복지대상자 정기 확인 조사를 본격적으로 실시한다고 밝혔다.
계양구에 따르면, 이번 조사는 사회보장급여의 적정성을 재확인하고 복지 재정의 효율성을 높이는 한편, 부정수급을 사전에 예방하기 위해 추진된다.
2026년 상반기 조사 대상은 총 6,254세대(9,846명)로, 사회보장급여 신청 요건 완화에 따라 전년 대비 약 34% 증가했다.
조사 과정에서는 25개 관계 기관으로부터 제공받은 94개 유형의 공적 자료를 활용해 소득·재산 등 변동 사항을 확인하고 수급 자격을 면밀히 점검할 예정이다.
자격이 변경될 경우에는 급여 증감 또는 수급 중지 등의 조치가 이루어질 예정이다.
