【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 교육부가 추진하는 ‘2026년 성인문해교육 지원사업’ 공모에서 기초·디지털·생활 문해교육 등 3개 분야 프로그램이 최종 선정돼 국비 3600만 원을 확보했다고 7일 밝혔다.
‘성인문해교육 지원사업’은 비문해·저학력 성인을 대상으로 일상생활에 필요한 기초 역량을 높이고, 사회참여 기회를 확대하기 위해 추진하는 사업이다.
군은 이번 공모 선정으로 관내 찾아가는 마을학습장 9개소에서 약 100명의 학습자를 대상으로 더욱 체계적인 성인문해교육을 운영할 수 있게 됐다.
이번에 선정된 분야별 프로그램은 △읽기·쓰기·셈하기 등 기초문해능력 향상을 위한 기초 문해교육 △스마트폰, 키오스크, 인공지능(AI) 등 디지털 기기 활용 능력을 높이는 디지털 문해교육 △건강, 안전, 금융, 경제 등 일상생활에 필요한 역량을 키우는 생활 문해교육으로 구성된다.
이를 통해 학습자들의 생활문해 능력 향상은 물론, 지역사회 참여 확대와 삶의 질 향상에도 도움이 될 것으로 기대되고 있다.
군은 앞서 2025년 성인문해교육 지원사업 공모에 선정돼 2개 분야 프로그램을 운영하며 학습자들로부터 호응을 얻었으며, 지난해 음성군 성인문해교육 시화집을 처음 발간해 학습자들의 배움의 성과를 지역사회와 공유한 바 있다.
올해는 두 번째 시화집 발간도 가능해져 학습자들의 자긍심을 높이고 문해교육의 가치를 널리 확산하는 계기가 될 전망이다.
군 관계자는 “이번 공모 선정은 배움의 기회를 놓친 군민들에게 새로운 희망과 자신감을 심어주는 계기가 될 것”이라며 “앞으로도 군민 누구나 소외됨 없이 배움의 기쁨을 누릴 수 있도록 맞춤형 평생학습 지원을 더욱 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
