[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 양산시는 내년 예산에 시민의 목소리를 반영하기 위해 ‘주민참여예산 제안사업’을 공모한다고 8일 밝혔다.
주민참여예산은 시민들이 직접 예산과정에 참여할 수 있는 제도로, 일상에서 느끼는 불편사항을 해결하고 편익을 증진하는 데 중점을 두고 있다. 양산시는 2011년부터 이 제도를 운영해왔다.
2027년 예산에 반영될 주민참여예산의 총 규모는 160억원으로, ▲시민참여형 일반사업은 건당 3억원까지 ▲민관협치형 사업은 주민참여예산위원회에서 발굴하는 사업으로 건당 3억원까지 ▲주민자치형 사업은 읍면동 주민자치회에서 발굴하는 사업으로 건당 2천만원까지 신청 가능하다.
공모기간 동안 접수된 제안사업은 부서 및 분과위원회의 타당성 검토와 주민참여예산위원회의 심의 및 우선순위 선정 과정을 거쳐 2027년도 예산안에 반영된다.
이후 의회 승인을 통해 최종 확정된다. 최종 선정결과는 양산시 홈페이지 및 주민e참여 홈페이지에서 확인할 수 있다.
사업 제안은 양산시민 누구나 할 수 있으며 온라인 또는 거주지 읍면동 행정복지센터에서 서면으로도 신청이 가능하다.
양산시 관계자는 “참신한 사업이 많이 발굴될 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”며 “시민들이 체감할 수 있는 사업이 예산에 많이 반영될 수 있도록 적극적인 참여를 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
