청와대가 8일 미·이란 간 휴전에 따른 호르무즈 해협 내 한국 선박 통항 재개 관련해 "가능한 한 조속히 한국 선박 호르무즈 해협 통항이 이루어질 수 있도록 최선을 다해 나가겠다"고 밝혔다.
청와대는 이날 오후 언론 공지를 통해 "이번 휴전 합의로 호르무즈 해협 통항 재개 여건이 마련되면서 정부는 한국 선박 통항이 조속히 이뤄질 수 있도록 선사와 협의하고 관련국과의 소통을 가속화할 것"이라고 설명했다.
그러면서 "이란 측이 군과의 협조·기술적 제약 등을 고려해 통항 재개를 밝힌 상황"이라며 "구체적 통항 방식·조건에 대해 관련국과의 소통을 통해 면밀히 파악 중"이라고 했다.
또 "통항에 필요한 선박 리스트 등 제반 사항도 선사와 긴밀히 협의하며 신속 재점검하고 있다"고 덧붙였다.
