[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 고성군이 중동전쟁 등 대외 여건 변화로 인한 경제 불안 속에서 군민 생활 안정을 도모하고 지역경제를 활성화하기 위해 전 군민을 대상으로 1인당 30만 원의 민생활력지원금 지급을 추진한다고 8일 밝혔다.
이에 군은 지난 3월 고성군 민생지원금 지급 조례안을 마련해 4월 2일 입법예고 했다.
이번 민생활력지원금은 고물가·고금리 및 경기 침체로 어려움을 겪고 있는 군민들의 부담을 덜고, 소비를 촉진해 지역 상권에 활력을 불어넣기 위해 마련됐다.
특히 전 군민을 대상으로 하는 보편적 지원으로 추진되어, 군민 누구나 체감할 수 있는 실질적인 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.
지원 대상은 2026년 4월 1일 현재 고성군에 주민등록을 둔 군민과 결혼이민자로, 약 4만7000명이 혜택을 받을 예정이며, 지역 내 소비 촉진과 소상공인 지원을 위해 고성사랑상품권 가맹점에서 사용할 수 있는 지역화폐를 지급할 계획이다.
