남구에 따르면, 지난 7일 보건의 날 기념 행사에서 진행된 이번 평가는 보건·의료, 감염병 관리, 건강증진 등 10개 분야와 30개 시책, 51개 지표를 종합적으로 평가해 이뤄졌다. 남구보건소는 감염병 대응, 정신건강 서비스, AI 기반 어르신 건강관리 등에서 우수한 평가를 받은 것으로 전해졌다.
특히, 생애주기별 건강안전망 구축을 위한 특수시책과 자살예방 사업이 모범사례로 선정되면서 남구보건소의 꾸준한 보건사업 성과가 재확인됐다.
3년 연속 수상은 단기적 성과를 넘어 정책의 지속성과 현장 적용력을 입증한 것으로, 남구보건소의 지역 맞춤형 보건사업 추진 능력이 인정받았다는 평가다.
조재구 남구청장은 “보건소 직원들의 노고 덕분에 이번 쾌거가 가능했다”며 “앞으로도 주민이 직접 체감할 수 있는 건강 정책을 적극적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
