【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 9일 삼성면 행정복지센터 대회의실에서 ‘찾아가는 화재 예방 안전교육’ 을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
군에 따르면 이번 교육은 최근 관내 기업(공장)에서 화재가 빈번하게 발생함에 따라, 개별입지 기업체에서 발생할 수 있는 화재 등 각종 사고를 예방하고, 기업의 자율적 안전관리 역량을 강화하기 위해 음성소방서(예방안전과)와 음성군(기업지원과) 공동 주관으로 마련됐다.
이날 열린 삼성면 기업인협의회 월례회의에 맞춰 삼성면 내 개별입지 기업체 약 35개사를 대상으로 실시됐다. 개별입지 기업체의 현장 특성을 고려한 맞춤형 현장 방문 교육 방식으로 운영해 실효성을 높였다.
음성소방서 예방안전과 정해영 소방장이 강사를 맡아 현장 경험을 바탕으로 한 실질적인 교육이 이뤄졌다.
교육 주요 내용은 △공장 내 위험요소 관리방법 △화재 발생 시 행동요령 △소화기 사용법 이론 교육 등으로 기업 종사자들의 화재 초기 대응 능력을 실질적으로 높이는 데 중점을 뒀다.
음성군과 음성소방서는 이번 삼성면을 시작으로 각 읍면 기업인협의회 및 개별입지 기업체를 순차적으로 방문하는 찾아가는 기업 맞춤형 안전교육을 지속적으로 확대해 나갈 계획이다.
음성소방서 관계자는 “공장 화재는 한 번 발생하면 대형 피해로 이어질 수 있는 만큼, 평소 위험 요소를 꼼꼼히 점검하고 소화기 사용법 등 초기 대응 방법을 반드시 숙지해 두는 것이 중요하다”며 “이번 교육이 기업 종사자들의 안전 의식을 높이고 화재 예방에 실질적인 도움이 되기를 바란다”고 밝혔다.
군 관계자는 “화재는 초기 대응이 무엇보다 중요한 만큼, 기업 종사자들이 현장에서 직접 소화기를 다뤄보고 대피 요령을 익히는 것이 큰 도움이 될 것”이라며 “앞으로도 기업의 안전한 생산환경 조성을 위해 행정적 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.
