강의는 충북대학교 국가위기관리연구소 재난안전혁신센터 권설아 센터장이 맡아 △중대재해 예방을 위한 지방정부의 역할 △중대재해처벌법 주요 사항 △중대시민재해의 이해 등을 주제로 진행했다.
특히 단순한 법령 설명에 그치지 않고 실제 중대재해 사례를 분석해 기관의 안전보건 관리체계와 공직자의 역할을 구체적으로 제시함으로써 참석자들의 이해도를 높였다.
아울러 공공부문 안전관리의 중요성과 현장 중심 안전 점검의 필요성을 강조하며, 각 부서 사업 현장에서 사고 예방과 안전관리 체계 구축에 철저를 기할 것을 당부했다.
이영자 군 안전정책과장은 “중대재해 예방을 위해서는 현장 근무자의 철저한 안전 인식과 선제적 대응이 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “이번 교육을 계기로 우리 군의 안전보건 관리체계를 더욱 강화하고, 군민과 종사자 모두가 안심할 수 있는 ‘안전한 진천’ 조성에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
