【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=(사)대한노인회 진천군지회 부설 진천군 노인대학은 10일 진천군노인복지관에서 ‘제23기 노인대학 입학식’을 성황리에 개최했다.
배움에 대한 열정으로 가득 찬 이날 행사에는 남은숙 진천군 문화복지국장을 비롯한 내빈과 입학생 등 90여 명이 참석해 어르신들의 새로운 출발을 축하했다.
올해 제23기 노인대학 입학생은 전년 대비 약 50% 증가한 74명(남성 11명, 여성 63명)으로, 이 가운데 부부가 함께 등록한 3쌍의 어르신이 포함돼 참석자들에게 훈훈한 감동을 전했다.
이날 행사는 입학 허가 선언, 입학생 선서, 축사, 학생회 임원 선출 등의 순으로 진행됐으며, 지난 4월 1일 취임한 이문희 노인대학장을 중심으로 더욱 내실 있는 교육과정이 운영될 것으로 기대를 모으고 있다.
