[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 거제시는 조선업 신규 취업자에게 이주 정착비를 월 30만원씩 최대 1년간 지원하는 조선업 신규 취업자 이주정착비 지원사업 참여자를 13일부터 모집한다고 밝혔다.
지원 대상은 조선업체에 신규 취업한 근로자로 2023년 1월 1일 이후 경남 외 지역에서 거제시로 주소를 옮긴 근로자 중 3개월 이상 근무한 장기 근속자다.
시는 이들에게 최대 1년간 월 30만원을 지원할 예정이며 예산 범위 내에서 최대 12회 이내로 지급한다. 중도 퇴사하거나 다른 지역으로 거주지를 이전하면 지원이 중단된다.
신청은 4․7․10․12월 4차례에 걸쳐서 받는다. 다만 대기업 근로자나 기업체에서 제공하는 기숙사에서 생활하는 근로자, 청년 월세 지원사업 참여자 등은 신청에서 제외된다.
