【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시교육청이 13일부터 24일까지 2주간 지역 대학·도서관과 연계한 늘봄학교 프로그램의 현장 모니터링에 나선다.
이번 점검은 프로그램의 안정적 정착과 운영 개선을 위한 실무 점검 성격으로, 19개 초·중학교를 대상으로 진행된다.
모니터링단은 시교육청과 교육지원청 늘봄지원센터 담당자, 대학 책임교수, 도서관 관계자 등 33명으로 구성됐다.
이들은 코딩·치어리딩·문해력 놀이 등 대학 43종, 도서관 23종 등 총 66개 프로그램의 운영 실태를 점검하고 학생·학부모 의견을 수렴할 계획이다.
대구시교육청은 지난 1월 공모를 통해 선정된 지역 대학과 공공도서관이 참여하는 늘봄 프로그램이 3월부터 본격 운영됨에 따라, 현장 체감도를 높이고 개선 과제를 도출하기 위해 이번 점검을 마련했다.
점검 결과를 바탕으로 프로그램 질을 높이고 학교 현장 안착을 지원한다는 방침이다.
강은희 교육감은 “전문기관의 우수 프로그램이 학교 현장에서 안정적으로 운영될 수 있도록 현장의 목소리를 반영해 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education will conduct on-site monitoring of the Neulbom School program, which is linked with local universities and libraries, for two weeks from the 13th to the 24th.
