[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 지난해 7월 집중호우로 발생한 산림 피해 복구를 위해 수곡·명석·집현면 등 36곳서 복구 작업을 추진하며 2차 피해 예방에 힘쓰고 있다고 13일 밝혔다.
시는 총사업비 16억9700만원을 확보해 산사태 복구공사와 임도 복구공사를 병행 추진하고 있으며 오는 6월 말까지 모든 공사를 마무리해 장마철 이전 대비를 목표로 하고 있다.
현재 산사태 복구공사 22곳과 임도 복구공사 14곳이 진행 중이며, 지난 3월 공사에 본격 착수해 공정 관리와 현장 점검을 강화하는 등 복구와 안전성을 확보하는 데 주력하고 있다.
아울러 시는 해빙기 산사태 취약지역 143곳과 대피소 86곳에 대한 사전 점검을 마쳤으며, 주민 연락체계를 정비해 비상 상황 시 신속한 대응이 가능하도록 안전망 구축에도 힘쓰고 있다.
또 시는 산사태 전담 기간제근로자 4명으로 구성된 산림재난대응단을 지난 3월부터 오는 10월까지 운영해 현장 점검과 위험요인 정비, 예방활동 등을 지속적으로 실시할 계획이다.
