(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전라남도가 지역의 미래를 이끌어갈 우수 인재를 발굴하기 위해 ‘제7회 전라남도 으뜸인재 선발’ 참여자를 공개 모집한다.
전남도는 올해 총 60여 명의 인재를 선발해 1인당 최대 600만 원의 재능계발비를 지원한다고 밝혔다. 이번 사업은 지역 학생들이 경제적 부담 없이 자신의 재능을 꽃피울 수 있도록 돕는 전남의 대표적인 인재 육성 프로젝트다.
선발 분야는지역 중·고·대학생을 대상으로 인문사회, 자연과학, 공학, 마이스터 등 ‘미래리더’와 국악·실용음악, 클래식, 미술, 무용·연기·영상, 체육 등 ‘예체능 리더’, 2개 분야이다에서 총 60여 명을 선발한다.
지원 자격은 공고일 현재 본인이나 부모가 전남에 주민등록을 둔 중·고·대학생이며, 14세부터 24세 사이의 학교 밖 청소년도 신청할 수 있다.
선발 과정은 1차 서류심사와 2차 실기심사(면접)를 거쳐 최종 확정된다. 선발된 인재에게는 전라남도 인재증서가 수여되며, 졸업 시까지 매년 재능계발비가 지원된다. 지원 금액은 학교급에 따라 ▲중학생 300만 원 ▲고등학생 500만 원 ▲대학생 600만 원이다.
전남도의 으뜸인재 육성 사업은 이미 괄목할 만한 성과를 거두고 있다. 지난 6년간 선발된 561명의 인재 중에는 파리올림픽 양궁 금메달리스트인 남수현 선수를 비롯해 전국체전 다관왕, 특허 출원, 논문 발표 등 다양한 분야에서 두각을 나타내는 사례가 잇따르고 있다.
신청을 희망하는 학생은 오는 5월 8일까지 전남인재평생교육진흥원 누리집을 통해 온라인으로 접수하면 된다.
