【브레이크뉴스 경산】이성현 기자=한국한의약진흥원(원장 고호연)은 한의약 분야 인공지능(AI) 활용 확대를 위해 원광대학교 광주한방병원(병원장 이상관)과 14일 병원에서 업무협약을 체결했다.

이번 협약은 한의약 분야의 지능정보화 기반을 확대하고, 디지털 정보 및 AI 연계를 위한 기술 협력 체계를 구축하기 위해 추진됐다.
양 기관은 특히 한의표준임상진료지침(CPG) 기반의 표준 전자의무기록(EMR) 프레임워크를 보급하고, 이를 실시간으로 연계하는 API(Application Programming Interface)를 확산해 표준화된 통합 데이터 모델을 구축하기로 했다.
협약에 따라 양 기관은 △디지털 정보 기반 연구 및 빅데이터·AI 등 첨단기술을 활용한 공동연구 △디지털 정보 활용 환경 구축과 인적·물적 교류 △한의약 디지털 전환 및 AI 활용 전문인력 교육·양성 △협력사업 추진을 위한 실무협의체 구성·운영 등 다각적인 협력을 추진한다.
이를 통해 한의 의료 현장의 디지털 전환을 촉진하고, 연구 활성화와 데이터 활용 역량 강화를 기반으로 한의약 연구 경쟁력을 높인다는 방침이다.
김상진 한국한의약진흥원 지능정보화센터장은 “이번 협약은 한의약 연구와 데이터 활용 기반을 한 단계 도약시키는 계기가 될 것”이라며 “실질적인 협력을 통해 의료 현장에서 체감할 수 있는 디지털 환경을 구축하겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편 한국한의약진흥원은 한의약 특화 AI 챗봇 ‘맥챗’과 한약실험정보관리시스템 ‘KLIMS’를 운영하고, 표준 EMR 프레임워크 개발·보급을 추진하는 등 한의약 디지털 혁신을 선도하고 있다.

The Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine (President Ko Ho-yeon) signed a business agreement with Wonkwang University Gwangju Oriental Medicine Hospital (Hospital Director Lee Sang-gwan) at the hospital on the 14th to expand the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of oriental medicine.
This agreement was pursued to expand the foundation for intelligent information systems in the field of oriental medicine and to establish a technical cooperation system for linking digital information with AI.
In particular, the two institutions agreed to build a standardized integrated data model by disseminating a standard Electronic Medical Record (EMR) framework based on Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) for Oriental Medicine and by expanding Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) that link this framework in real time. Under the agreement, the two institutions will pursue multifaceted cooperation, including: △ research based on digital information and joint research utilizing advanced technologies such as big data and AI; △ establishment of an environment for utilizing digital information and exchange of personnel and resources; △ education and training of specialized personnel for the digital transformation of Korean medicine and AI utilization; and △ formation and operation of a working committee to promote cooperative projects.
Through this, the plan is to accelerate the digital transformation of the Korean medical field and enhance the competitiveness of Korean medicine research by revitalizing research and strengthening data utilization capabilities.
Kim Sang-jin, Head of the Intelligent Informationization Center at the Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine, stated, "This agreement will serve as an opportunity to take the foundation for Korean medicine research and data utilization to the next level," adding, "We will build a digital environment that can be tangibly experienced in the medical field through practical cooperation."
Meanwhile, the Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine is leading digital innovation in Korean medicine by operating the specialized AI chatbot ‘MacChat’ and the Korean Medicine Laboratory Information Management System ‘KLIMS’, and by promoting the development and distribution of a standard EMR framework.
