브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 소속사 하이브 레이블 빅히트뮤직은 15일 “그룹 방탄소년단(BTS / RM, 진, 슈가, 제이홉, 지민, 뷔, 정국)이 미국 3대 음악 시상식인 ‘아메리칸 뮤직 어워드’(American Music Awards)에서 또 한 번 대상 후보에 올랐다”고 밝혔다.
지난 14일 미국 대중음악 시상식인 ‘아메리칸 뮤직 어워드’가 발표한 후보 명단에 따르면, 방탄소년단은 ‘올해의 아티스트’(Artist of the Year) 부문에 이름을 올렸다.
이들은 지난 2021년 한국 가수 최초로 ‘올해의 아티스트’를 거머쥐며 세계 음악사에 한 획을 그은 바 있다. 이번 노미네이트로 통산 두 번째 대상 수상에 대한 기대감이 더욱 고조된다.
