공개 모집을 통해 다시 한번 센터 수탁기관으로 선정된 효성복지재단은 이번 계약에 따라 오는 5월부터 2030년까지 4년 8개월간 시설 관리와 운영 전반을 맡게 된다. 기존 운영 경험을 바탕으로 지역 특성에 맞는 전문적이고 다양한 가족 지원 서비스를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.
행복북구 통합 가족센터의 주요 사업은 다문화가족 지원, 아이돌봄서비스, 가족 상담, 부모 교육 등이다. 여기에 돌봄 사각지대 해소를 위한 다함께돌봄센터와 지역 아동을 위한 장난감도서관 운영도 함께 추진된다.
지난 2023년 개소한 행복북구 통합 가족센터는 다양한 가족 구성원이 소통하고 창의적 활동을 펼칠 수 있는 복합 공간으로 조성됐다. 지난 4년간 전문적인 위탁 운영을 통해 지역을 대표하는 돌봄 거점 시설로 자리매김하고 있다.
전미조 효성복지재단 대표는 “현장에서 쌓은 전문성과 경험을 바탕으로 지역 관계기관과 촘촘히 연계해 가족센터가 더욱 신뢰받는 복지·돌봄 거점으로 성장할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
배광식 북구청장은 “앞으로도 가족센터 운영 지원을 통해 다양한 가족을 위한 맞춤형 복지 서비스를 강화하고 안전한 돌봄 환경을 구축하겠다”며 “아이들의 웃음소리가 끊이지 않는 행복한 북구를 만들어 가겠다”고 밝혔다.
