15일 평창군에 따르면, 올해부터 사회복지법인 월정사복지재단이 위탁 운영을 맡은 평창시니어클럽은 노인 일자리 및 사회활동 지원사업 참여자 약 2,000명을 대상으로 직무 및 소양 교육을 실시한다고 밝혔다.
이번 교육은 일자리 사업에 참여하는 어르신들의 인권 보호를 강화하고 정신 건강 증진을 돕기 위해 마련됐다. 단순한 직무 교육을 넘어 예방 중심의 교육과 정서 안정 프로그램을 병행하는 것이 특징이다.

교육은 4월 중 두 차례로 나뉘어 진행된다. 15일에는 평창읍 평창국민체육센터에서, 오는 23일에는 진부면 평창송어종합공연체험장에서 각각 실시될 예정이다.
