<브레이크뉴스 원주 = 김일웅 기자> 원주시가 한국 문학의 거장 故 박경리 작가의 탄생 100주년을 기념해 전국의 어린이들을 대상으로 뜻깊은 창작의 장을 마련한다.
15일 원주시에 따르면, 시는 지역의 대표 문학 자산인 박경리 작가의 문학적 가치를 미래 세대에 전하고, 어린이들의 창의적인 상상력을 키워주기 위해 ‘2026년 제6회 전국 어린이 상상화 그리기 대회’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
참가 대상은 전국 2014년생부터 2019년생까지의 어린이들이다. 참가자들은 박경리 작가의 대표 동화인 ‘돌아온 고양이’ 또는 ‘은하수’를 읽고, 책 속 이야기 이후에 펼쳐질 다음 이야기를 자유롭게 상상해 도화지에 담아 제출하면 된다.
작품 접수 기간은 4월 15일부터 오는 5월 15일 오후 6시까지 약 한 달간이다. 어린이들이 자유롭고 편안한 환경에서 창작 활동에 집중할 수 있도록 대회는 현장 실기 방식이 아닌 방문 및 우편 접수 방식으로 진행된다.
