(광주=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=광주경제자유구역청(이하 광주경자청)이 유관 기관과 협력하여 지역 핵심 전략산업 기업들의 기술 경쟁력 강화와 안정적인 비즈니스 환경 조성을 위한 통합 지원 체계를 가동한다.
광주경자청은 15일 경자청 비즈니스룸에서 광주지방국세청, (재)한국특허기술진흥원과 ‘광주경제자유구역 핵심 전략산업 기업 육성 및 기술 경쟁력 강화를 위한 업무협약’을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이날 협약식에는 선석기 광주경자청장, 김학선 광주지방국세청장, 김명섭 한국특허기술진흥원장이 참석해 지역 기업의 혁신 성장을 지원하기 위한 긴밀한 협력체계 구축에 합의했다.
이번 협약은 기업 경영의 필수 요소인 세무와 특허, 산업 지원 서비스를 하나로 묶은 ‘원스톱 지원체계’ 구축을 골자로 한다. 각 기관은 전문성을 바탕으로 입주 기업들의 애로사항 해결에 나선다.
광주경자청은 경영·세정·지식재산 등 기업 현장의 목소리를 수집하는 통합 소통창구 역할을 수행한다. 한국특허기술진흥원은 입주기업을 대상으로 특허 조사·분석 서비스를 제공하고, 고도화된 특허 정보와 데이터베이스를 지원해 기술 보호와 경쟁력 향상을 돕는다. 광주지방국세청은 지원 요청 기업을 대상으로 연구개발(R&D) 세액공제 사전심사 및 맞춤형 공제·감면 컨설팅을 제공해 기업의 세무 부담을 덜어줄 계획이다.
3개 기관은 이번 협약이 일회성 행사에 그치지 않도록 실무협의회를 별도로 구성해 운영하기로 했다. 이를 통해 협업 사항을 상시 점검하고, 공동 홍보 활동을 펼치는 등 기업이 피부로 느낄 수 있는 실질적인 성과를 도출할 방침이다.
