시는 지난 17일 사업 현장을 방문해 공사 진행 현황을 확인하고, 여름철 집중호우에 대비한 안전관리 실태를 집중적으로 살폈다고 밝혔다.
파주메디컬클러스터는 의료·연구·산업·주거 기능이 결합된 대규모 복합단지로, 파주시의 자족 기능을 강화하기 위한 핵심 전략사업이다.

사업 대상지는 서패동 432번지 일원으로, 약 45만㎡ 규모에 종합의료시설과 혁신의료연구단지, 바이오 융복합 산업시설, 공동주택 3,250세대 등이 조성될 예정이다.
