대구보건대 대학원생·졸업생, 국제 초음파 자격 13건 취득 쾌거

【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구보건대학교(총장 남성희)는 보건전문기술대학원 의료융합방사선기술전공 글로벌 임상 초음파 과정 재학생과 졸업생들이 국제 및 국내 전문 자격시험에서 총 13건의 자격을 취득하는 성과를 거뒀다고 20일 밝혔다.

이번 성과는 미국 진단초음파협회(ARDMS) 국제자격 8건과 대한방사선사협회가 주관하는 임상초음파 전문방사선사 자격 5건 등으로 구성됐다.

ARDMS 자격시험은 세계적으로 공신력을 인정받는 초음파 진단 분야 최고 권위의 국제 공인 자격으로 평가된다. 임상초음파 전문방사선사 자격 역시 방사선사 면허 취득 후 5년 이상의 임상 경력을 요구하는 심화 자격으로, 두 시험 모두 높은 수준의 임상 경험과 실무 역량이 요구된다.

학생들은 지명훈 의료융합방사선기술전공 책임교수의 지도 아래 ARDMS 부문에서 ▲유방 2건 ▲심장 3건 ▲물리 3건 등 총 8건을 취득했다. 국내 전문방사선사 부문에서는 ▲복부 2건 ▲유방 1건 ▲심장 1건 ▲근골격 1건 등 총 5건의 자격을 획득했다.

특히 대학원 3기 이지현 학생은 ARDMS 3개 분야인 RDMS 유방, RDCS 심장, SPI 물리에 동시에 합격하는 뛰어난 성과를 냈다.

이 밖에도 ▲2기 졸업생 도유미 씨는 RDCS 심장과 전문 복부 ▲남해인 씨는 SPI 물리와 전문 복부·유방 ▲김야운 씨는 SPI 물리 자격을 취득했다. ▲3기 재학생 정주현 학생은 RDCS 심장과 전문 심장 ▲김화영 학생은 RDMS 유방 ▲이진희 학생은 전문 근골격 자격을 각각 취득하며 전문성을 입증했다.

권순무 보건전문기술대학원장(방사선학과 교수)은 “전문학사부터 전공심화과정, 보건전문기술대학원으로 이어지는 단계별 교육체계를 통해 축적된 역량이 이번 성과로 이어졌다”며 “앞으로도 실무 중심 교육과 학술 활동 지원을 강화해 글로벌 경쟁력을 갖춘 전문 인재 양성에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.

Daegu Health College Graduate Students and Graduates Achieve Remarkable Success by Acquiring 13 International Ultrasound Qualifications

Daegu Health College (President Nam Seong-hee) announced on the 20th that current students and graduates of the Global Clinical Ultrasound program under the Medical Convergence Radiation Technology major at the Graduate School of Health Technology have achieved the feat of acquiring a total of 13 qualifications in international and domestic professional certification exams.

This achievement consists of 8 international qualifications from the American Association of Diagnostic Ultrasound (ARDMS) and 5 Clinical Ultrasound Specialist qualifications administered by the Korean Association of Radiographers.

The ARDMS qualification exam is considered the most authoritative international certification in the field of ultrasound diagnostics, recognized globally for its credibility. The Clinical Ultrasound Specialist qualification is also an advanced qualification requiring at least 5 years of clinical experience following the acquisition of a radiographer's license; both exams demand a high level of clinical experience and practical competence.

** Under the guidance of Professor Ji Myung-hoon, Head of the Medical Convergence Radiation Technology major, the students acquired a total of eight qualifications in the ARDMS sector, including two in breast, three in heart, and three in physics. In the domestic professional radiographer sector, they obtained a total of five qualifications, including two in abdomen, one in breast, one in heart, and one in musculoskeletal.

In particular, Lee Ji-hyun, a student in the 3rd cohort of graduate students, achieved an outstanding result by simultaneously passing all three ARDMS fields: RDMS Breast, RDCS Heart, and SPI Physics.

In addition, Do Yu-mi, a graduate from the 2nd cohort, obtained RDCS Heart and Professional Abdomen qualifications; Nam Hae-in obtained SPI Physics and Professional Abdomen/Breast qualifications; and Kim Ya-un obtained SPI Physics qualifications. Furthermore, current 3rd cohort students Jung Ju-hyun obtained RDCS Heart and Professional Heart qualifications; Kim Hwa-young obtained RDMS Breast qualifications; and Lee Jin-hee obtained Professional Musculoskeletal qualifications, demonstrating their expertise.

Kwon Soon-moo, Dean of the Graduate School of Health Technology (Professor of Radiology), stated, “The capabilities accumulated through a step-by-step educational system extending from the Associate’s degree to the Advanced Major Course and the Graduate School of Health Technology led to this achievement,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen support for practice-oriented education and academic activities to foster professional talent equipped with global competitiveness.”
