【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도음성교육지원청은‘2026 글로벌에코리더’ 프로그램을 본격 운영하며, 환경 실천 역량을 갖춘 미래 인재 양성에 나선다.
‘글로벌에코리더’는 음성 지역의 산업·환경적 특성을 반영한 지역특화 환경 인재양성 프로그램으로, 학생들이 환경 문제를 인식하고 실천으로 이어가는 경험을 통해 지역과 세계를 연결하는 환경 리더로 성장하도록 지원하는 데 목적이 있다.
2026 글로벌에코리더 4기 학생들은 에코교실을 시작으로 단계별 교육과정에 참여하게 되며, 환경교육 및 체험활동, 프로젝트 기반 학습 등을 통해 환경 감수성과 실천 역량을 체계적으로 키워 나갈 예정이다.
프로그램의 시작을 알리는 발대식은 지난 4월 18일(토) 음성교육지원청 2층 대회의실에서 학생·학부모·교사지원단 등 약 90여 명이 참석한 가운데 진행되었다. 이날 행사에서는 입학생 선서와 선배 기수의 응원 메시지, 에코교실 및 에코아카데미 운영 사례 공유 등을 통해 프로그램에 대한 이해를 높이고, 참여자 간 공감대를 형성하는 시간을 가졌다.
특히 초·중등 교육과정 안내와 질의응답을 통해 향후 운영 방향과 활동 내용이 구체적으로 공유되었으며, 학생들은 글로벌에코리더로서의 책임과 역할을 다짐했다.
