대전창조경제혁신센터(이하 대전혁신센터)는 21일 대전 스타트업 파크에서 ‘대전권 대학 혁신코디네이터 협의체’를 발족하고 상생 행보에 나섰다.
이번 협의체 발족에는 지역 대학의 창업 역량을 하나로 묶어 실행력을 높이겠다는 의지가 담겼다.
국립한밭대, 충남대, 한남대 등 대전권 주요 9개 대학 관계자들이 현장에 참석해 청년 창업 활성화를 위한 유기적인 협력을 약속했다.
앞으로 각 대학과 혁신센터는 연합 창업경진대회를 기획하고 글로벌 진출 프로그램을 공동 운영하는 등 실질적인 결과물을 도출하는 데 집중할 예정이다.
특히 대학의 참신한 아이디어를 발굴하는 단계부터 전문 보육과 투자 연계까지 이어지는 원스톱 지원 체계를 구축한다는 방침이다.
이를 위해 참여 기관들은 '창업 교육 및 취·창업 지원, 유망 기업 발굴 및 투자 연계, 지역 창업 페스티벌을 통한 네트워킹 강화' 등에도 함께 힘을 모으기로 했다.
대학이 보유한 풍부한 인적 자원과 센터의 사업화 노하우가 결합해 대전만의 특화된 창업 모델을 만들겠다는 복안이다.
황윤성 대전혁신센터 창업생태계본부장은 대학과 긴밀히 호흡하며 실질적인 성과를 내겠다며, 현장 중심의 협업을 통해 대전 창업 생태계의 경쟁력을 한 단계 끌어올릴 것이라고 밝혔다.
