브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이낙연 더불어민주당 대표는 12일 김정은 북한 국무위원장이 열병식에서 육성으로 남북이 다시 두손 맞잡을 날이 오길 기원한다고 말한 것과 관련 "남북관계에 숨통을 틀 수 있는 긍정적인 발언으로 평가한다"고 밝혔다.
이 대표는 이날 오전 열린 최고위원회의에서 "미국 하원에서는 민주당 소속 외교위원장 후보 전원이 한국전 종전선언결의안에 서명했다는 소식도 들려와 주목된다"며 이같이 말했다.
다만 이 대표는 김정은 국무위원장이 열병식에서 신형 대륙간탄도미사일(ICBM)을 공개한 데 대해선 "한반도와 세계 평화를 위협할 수 있다는 점에서 우려를 표한다"며 "열병식에서 공개한 신형 ICBM 등 증강된 무기는 북한이 대량파괴무기 개발 의지를 꺾지 않았음을 내보인 것"이라고 평가했다.
그는 해수부 공무원 피격사건과 관련해선 "우리 측이 요청한 남북공동조사, 시신 수습 협조, 군 통신선 복구 및 재가동을 북측이 수용하길 바란다"고 말했다.
