브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 정청래 더불어민주당 의원은 19일 안철수 국민의당 대표가 국민의힘의 서울시장 경선 플랫폼을 야권 전체에 개방해달라는 요구에 대해 "한마디로 국민의힘에 안에 들어가 먹힐 생각은 없고 국민의힘 밖에서 국민의힘을 먹고 싶다는 것"이라고 비판했다.
정 의원은 이날 안 대표 기자회견 직후 자신의 페이스북에 올린 '안철수의 속뜻은'이라는 제목의 글을 통해 "그러니 국민의힘 지지자들은 나를 계속 지지해 달라는 뜻"이라며 이같이 밝혔다.
그러면서 "결론적으로 나는 손해보기 싫다. 국민의힘이 제단의 희생양이 돼 달라. 내가 제사권을 갖겠다는 게 안철수의 생각이라고 본다"고 말했다.
한편, 안 대표는 이날 국회에서 기자회견을 열고 "제1야당(국민의힘)이 주도권을 갖고 야권 승리를 위한 게임메이커가 되어달라. 경선 플랫폼을 야권 전체에 개방해달라. 기꺼이 참여하겠다"고 제안했다.
안 대표는 이어 "개방형 경선 플랫폼을 국민의힘 책임 하에 관리하는 방안까지 포함해서, 가장 경쟁력 있는 야권 단일 후보를 뽑기 위한 실무 논의를 조건 없이 시작하자. 저는 이 논의에서 결정된 어떤 제안도 수용하겠다"고 약속했다.
한편, 국민의힘은 지난 18일부터 21일까지 나흘간 서울시장과 부산시장 보궐선거 후보 등록을 받으며 본격적인 경선 절차에 돌입했다.
