이날 행사에는 어려운 시국임에도 많은 내빈이 참석하였는데 김민배 TV조선대표는 아시아문화경제진흥원에서 고문으로 활동하다 작년에 타계한 고 김용운 교수의 추모사를 위해 참석했다. 김영진 전 농림부장관은 대표고문으로 기념사를 했다. 전석홍 왕인박사헌창협회 회장과 임채원 동부지검 부장검사는 시상식의 수여자로 참석했다. 서삼석 국회의원과 예선영 작가, 강성재 회장은 영암 월출산에 위치한 큰 바위 얼굴이 대한민국의 랜드마크가 되길 기원하는 자리를 만들었다. 가수 서지오와 고태산은 행사를 기념하기 위해 축하공연을 했다.
