브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 야권의 유력 대선주자인 윤석열 전 검찰총장이 12일 중앙선거관리위원회에 제20대 대통령 예비후보 등록을 마쳤다.
이날 윤 전 총장측 이석준 전 국무조정실장은 정부과천종합청사에 위치한 중앙선관위를 방문, 윤 전 총장 예비후보 등록을 대리접수했다.
예비후보 등록은 내년 3월9일인 대선 240일 전부터 등록할 수 있는데, 12일은 첫날이다.
윤석열 전 총장은 이날 보도자료를 통해 "국가를 위해 존재하는 국민이 아니라, 국민을 위해 존재하는 국가, 국민이 진짜 주인인 나라를 만들겠다"고 다시한번 포부를 밝혔다.

이석준 전 실장은 후보등록 직후 기자들과 만난 자리에서 "대선 캠프는 본격적으로 구성할 것"이라면서도 "작지만 효율적인 캠프를 구성하겠다는 후보자의 생각에 따라 그렇게 크지는 않을 것"이라고 전했다.
이어 최재형 전 감사원장과의 후보 단일화 가능성에 대해선 "윤석열 후보자가 지난번에 밝혔듯 9개의 생각이 달라도 1개의 생각, 정권교체에 동의하면 누구라도 만나서 (단일화를) 같이 논의할 용의가 있다고 말했다"고 했다.
후원회 구성과 관련해선 "지금 좋은 분을 후원회장으로 모시기 위해 여러 후보를 묻고 내부에서 검토 중인데, 확정되는 대로 후원회장을 포함해 후원회 구성을 마치겠다"며 "윤석열 후보자가 존경할 수 있고 사회적으로 명망있는 분으로 모실 것"이라고 말했다.
