브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 윤석열 전 검찰총장의 부인 김건희씨와 관련된 의혹을 벽화로 그린 서울 종로구의 한 중고서점이 2일 결국 모든 그림을 지웠다. 이날 오후 해당 중고서점의 벽면은 모두 흰색페인트로 덧칠돼 벽화는 물론 낙서까지 모두 지워졌다.
벽화가 대선 정국의 한복판에서 갈등을 촉발시키는 기폭제가 되자, 결국 모두 지우기로 결정한 것으로 보인다.
지난달 이 벽화가 등장하자, 친여 친야 성향의 유튜버 및 시민들 사이에서 진실공방과 함께 시위와 농성이 이어졌다.
'쥴리의 남자들'이란 문구가 적힌 그림으로 인해 보수와 진보 지지자들이 서점 앞에서 시위를 벌이고 양 진영간 격한 말들이 오가며 대치하는 등 갈등은 점차 심화됐다.
이에 서점 대표는 지난달 30일 벽화의 일부 문구를 흰색 페인트로 덧칠해 지웠지만 그 다음날 한 유투버가 검은 페인트로 벽화 대부분을 칠하는 일이 발생해 서점측에서 재물손괴죄로 신고하기도 했다.
또한 시민단체 활빈단은 벽화 내용이 윤 전 총장에 대한 정치적 폭력이자 부인 김씨의 인권을 침해한 행위라며 서점 주인 등을 명예훼손으로 경찰에 고발하기도 했다.
