영진전문대학교(총장 최재영)가 뷰티 전문업체인 ㈜아우라(대표 박종래)와 ‘뷰티융합형 전문인력 양성’을 위한 맞춤형 주문식교육 협약을 체결했다.
지난달 31일 대학 본관 회의실에서 열린 이번 협약식에는 ㈜아우라 박종래 대표이사, 김은혜 상무이사와 이 대학교 장현주 부총장, 이대섭 입학지원처장 등 양 기관 관계자가 참석했다.

이번 협약을 통해 양 기관은 실무중심 교육과 화장품 제조 분야 전문 인력 양성과 뷰티융합과 학생들의 현장실습 지원, 취업 연계 등에 적극 협력을 약속했다. 이에 따라 내년도에 개설할‘뷰티융합과’는 화장품, 헤어, 스킨케어 등을 아우르는 전문 인재 양성에 더욱 박차를 가할 것으로 전망된다.
㈜아우라 박종래 대표이사는 “사회 변화에 빠르게 대응하고 있는 영진전문대와 뷰티가 산업으로 성장할 수 있도록 적극 협력할 생각”이라며, “IT와 언어 능력 등 다양한 지식과 폭넓은 사고를 갖춘 인재를 뷰티융합과가 배출해 주길 기대한다”고 말했다.
장현주 부총장은 “지역에 기반을 두고 화장품 제조, 뷰티아카데미 등에서 발전을 거듭하고 있는 ㈜아우라와의 협약으로 뷰티융합과 학생들 폭넓은 교육, 융합형 인재 양성에 한발 더 다가설 수 있게 됐다”고 말하고 “회계, 경영, 제조 등 다양한 뷰티 산업에서 전문성을 발휘할 수 있는 교육에 최선을 다하겠다”고 했다.
