국민의힘 김승수 의원(대구 북구을, 문체위 간사)이 국정감사에서 민주당 대선후보로 확정된 이재명 후보의 과거 성남FC 구단주 시절 불투명한 회계와 전횡에 대한 의혹을 제기했다.
김승수 의원은 2015년과 2017년 사이 기업들이 성남FC에 후원한 금액은 165억 원 수준으로 당시 대규모 후원을 한 기업들은 하나같이 성남시와 인허가 및 많은 민원들이 연관이 되어 있었다고 밝혔다.

그 중에서도 성남FC에 33억 원을 후원한 차병원, 희망살림을 통해 우회적으로 39억 원을 후원한 네이버, 42억 원을 후원한 두산 등이 후원 이후 부지용도 변경, 건축허가, 용적율 등의 문제가 해결되었다는 사실을 지적했다.
이어 김승수 의원은 “특히 네이버가 직접 후원이 가능함에도 희망살림을 통해 40억원을 후원하고 희망살림 측에서 1억 원을 빚 탕감에 사용하고 39억을 성남FC에 후원하여 성남FC의 유니폼스폰서를 롤링주빌리 은행이 할 수 있도록 했다”면서“네이버와 기업들의 후원금으로 롤링주빌리를 광고하면서 당시 시장의 정치적 치적 홍보로 사용한 것”이라고 주장했따.
그러면서 "국민의 세금으로 운영되는 구단이 구단주의 치적홍보와 정치적 도구로 활용되었다는 것은 대단히 잘못된 것”이라고 강조했다.
아울러 김승수 의원은 “미르-K스포츠재단이 뇌물공여 혐의로 최순실 씨를 포함해 90명씩 실형을 받았는데 그것과 유사해 보이지 않나”라며 문화체육관광부와 대한체육회를 상대로 진상규명 감사를 촉구했다.
