브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이재명 더불어민주당 대선후보는 15일 경기 성남시 개발사업 특혜 의혹과 관련 "제가 성남시장을 계속했으면 인가 조건을 변경한다든지 최종 분양가를 통제하든지 해서 이렇게 되지 않았을 것"이라고 밝혔다.
이재명 후보는 이날 오전 국회에서 열린 민주당 의원총회에 참석한 뒤 기자들과 만난 자리에서 "제가 사퇴한 2018년 이후 부동산 가격이 올라 불확정된 예정이익이 늘어났다"며 이같이 말했다.
그는 시행사인 화천대유가 천문학적 이익을 가져간 데 대해 "제가 (성남시정에) 권한이 없으니 그 점에 대해서는 국민 여러분이 갖는 상실감과 박탈감에 정치인의 한 사람으로서 안타깝다"며 "결과론적으로 부동산 가격이 많이 올랐으니 그것까지 예상해서 하는 게 나았다고 국민들이 책임을 물을 수 있고 인정한다. 그 점은 아쉽기는 하다"고 했다.
