김천대, 범죄예방 캡스톤 디자인 경진대회 개최

김천대학교(총장 윤옥현) 경찰행정전공(주임교수 김봉수)은 안전한 김천대학교 만들기 범죄예방(CPTED) 캡스톤 디자인 경진대회를 개최했다.

지난 22일 2021학년 학술제를 개최한 김천대학교는 학술제와 함께 환경설계를 통한 범죄예방(CPTED) 캡스톤 디자인 경진대회를 진행했다고 밝혔다.

2018년부터 이어져온 안전한 김천대학교 만들기 캡스톤 디자인 경진대회는 올해 코로나19 확산 방지를 위해 실시간 온라인을 활용하여 각 학년별 진행되었다.

대회에 참가한 김상수 학생은 “경진대회를 준비해주신 김봉수 교수님 및 모든 경찰행정전공 교수님들 덕분에 우리 학교 및 김천시 범죄예방관 관련된 사안의 문제점을 찾고 개선방안을 제시해 본 소중한 시간이었다”고 감사를 전하며 “학생들의 제안이 교내에서라도 실현되었으면 좋겠다.”고 밝혔다.

대회에서 심사를 맡은 이장원 경위는 “의도치 않은 코로나19의 영향으로 학생들이 크게 위축돼 있을 것 같아 많은 고민을 갖고 심사에 참석했는데 김천대학교 학생들의 발표 능력과 학업에 대한 열정이 높다는 것을 실감하여 뿌듯한 시간이었다.”고 심사소감을 밝혔다.
