대구가톨릭대, 대구컨트리클럽과 협약체결

대구가톨릭대(총장 우동기)가 경산개발(주) 대구컨트리클럽(대표이사 우승백)와 상호교류를 위한 협약을 체결했다.

대구가톨릭대는 대구컨트리클럽(대표이사 우승백)와 26일 대구가톨릭대 본관에서 협약을 맺고 발전기금을 전달받았다.

대구컨트리클럽이 대구가톨릭대에 전달한 2,000만 원의 발전기금은 유스티노자유대학 장학기금으로 쓰일 예정이다.

이번 협약의 주요 내용은 △지역사회의 여가문화와 건강증진에 필요한 연수와및 교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 상호 협력 △연구자료, 간행물, 학술정보 및 우수 연구 인력과 인적 네트워크 상호 활용 △협약기관의 공간과 시설 등 인프라의 공동 이용에 대한 상호 협력이다.

또한 이와 더불어 대구컨트리클럽 구성원이 대구가톨릭대 유스티노자유대학에 입학 후 졸업 시까지 구성원임을 증명할 수 있는 경우, 산학협력장학금을 지급할 것을 약속했다.

대구가톨릭대 우동기 총장은 “기업이 직원의 고등교육 지원을 위해 장학금을 수여한 사례는 이번이 처음이 아닐까 싶다. 이 사례가 지역에 긍정적인 영향으로 작용해 전파되길 바란다”고 말했다.

우승백 대구컨트리클럽 대표이사는 “포스트 코로나 시대 대학 교육이 나아가야 할 방향 확립을 목표로 평생교육과 온라인 교육시스템 구축을 위해 설립된 유스티노자유대학의 발전에 보탬이 되었으면 한다”고 말했다.
