대구시교육청(교육감 강은희)이 2022년도 예산안을 전년 대비 3,735억원(11.2%) 증액한 3조 7,232억원으로 편성했다.
이번 2022년도 예산안은 미래역량교육 지속 추진을 통한 교육회복에 중점을 둔 것으로 정부 세수확대에 따른 보통교부금 증가 및 자체수입 증가 등으로 전년보다 11.2% 증가했다.
이를 통해 대구교육청은 창의융합형 인재를 양성에 1,526억원을 편성하였으며 다품교육을 공고히 하기 위해 5,523억원을 지원한다.
또한 학생중심 교실수업개선, 단위학교 자율경영 확대를 위해 5,684억원을 지원하고 믿고 맡기는 안전한 배움터, 따뜻한 교육공동체 조성에 762억원을 투입한다.
