김천대학교(총장 윤옥현) 산학협력단(단장 백열선)은 서 ‘2021년 김천시 청년 취·창업 인큐베이팅 사업’ 개강식 및 오리엔테이션을 가졌다.
지난 1일 김천시 청년센터에서 개최된 오리엔테이션은 김천대학교 윤옥현 총장, 백열선 단장, 김천시 일자리경제과 김종빈 팀장, 김천시 사회적 경제기업 윤광혁 협회장 그리고 교육생 등 20여명이 참석한 가운데 진행되었다.

김천시 청년 취·창업 인큐베이팅사업은 사업수행 역량에 대한 심사를 거친 김천시 거주 만15세~39세 청년들을 대상으로 사회적경제기업과 매칭하여 일자리 마련 기회 제공 및 사회적 가치를 실현하는 것과 동시에 김천시 사회적경제 활성화와 네트워크 강화를 목적으로 한다.
해당 사업을 통해 6차 산업 연계 신제품 개발을 지원하는 사업개발팀, 소셜미디어를 활용한 홍보·판로개척 지원팀, 특산물 및 우수상품 디자인 개발로 상품의 부가가치 향상을 도모하는 상품디자인 개발팀 등으로 선정된 청년들은 사업활동비를 지원받고, 사회적경제기업 등과 연계해 최대 6개월간 분야별로 활동할 예정이다.
인큐베이팅 과정은 오리엔테이션을 시작으로 2022년 4월까지 크게 자기소개서 작성 및 코칭, 면접 전략, 지식 재산권, 법무·재무·세무 지식 등에 관한 공통교육, 전문가 코칭(멘토링), 기관 연계 프로그램 등 3단계로 나누어 진행되며 이를 통해 청년들의 실무능력과 취·창업 워밍업 기회 등이 제공될 예정이다.
김천대학교 윤옥현 총장은 "청년들의 실직 및 미취업으로 인한 다양한 사회적 문제가 대두되고 있는 현 시점에서 이번 인큐베이팅 사업을 통해서 청년들의 역량을 개발하고 성공적인 취·창업의 밑거름이 되길 바란다"며 "앞으로도 지역사회의 발전을 위해 김천시와 협력하여 더욱 많은 사업을 제공할 수 있게 노력하겠다"고 전했다.
