울진군, 원전소재 기초지자체 행정협의회 참가

울진군(군수 전찬걸)은 지난 3일 경주시청에서 열린 원전소재 기초지자체 행정협의회(이하 행정협의회) 제29차 정기회의에 참석했다.

특히 이날은 박기영 산업통상자원부 2차관이 참석하여 5개 지자체장들과 △사용후핵연료 관련 지방세법 개정(안), △정비 목적으로 정지한 발전소 관련 발전소주변지역 지원법 시행령 개정(안), △발전소주변지역 도시가스 공급을 위한 시행요령 개정(안) △「1원전소재 시?군 1국가산업단지」지정?조성 △방폐물지원수수료 인상 등 원전소재 지역 현안사안에 대하여 논의하는 시간을 가졌다.

박기영 2차관은 인사말을 통해 “원전 운영에는 지역의 지지와 협조가 중요하며 지역의 목소리를 듣는 것이 중요하다”라며“원전소재 지역의 어려움을 해소할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 전했다.

이후 개최된 행정협의회 정기회의에서 △ 대학생 연합기숙사 건립사업 추진현황 등 보고 △‘환경감시기구 예산 관련 산업통상자원부 지침 마련’건의 등 3건의 기타 안건을 논의했다.
