대구대학교(총장 김상호) 창업지원단이 청년 취업역량 강화를 위해 취업매칭데이 프로그램을 진행했다.
지난 2일에서 3일까지 경산캠퍼스에서 대구특구 이노폴리스캠퍼스 사업의 일환으로 진행된 취업매칭데이는 창업기업의 신규고용 창출을 도모하고, 우수 스타트업과 취업희망자의 맞춤형 채용중계를 통해 취업 인프라를 확대시킬 수 있는 기회를 제공하는 프로그램이다.

이번 취업매칭 프로그램에서는 기업에게는 맞춤형 인재를 찾을 수 있는 기회를, 방문한 구직자들에게는 우수한 기업에 취업할 수 있는 기회를 제공하는 네트워크 장이 마련 되었다.
행사에서는 사전 신청을 통해 모집한 취업희망자 및 고용희망기업을 대상으로 업종별 매칭, 취업 연계 컨설팅, 온·오프라인 모의 면접도 실시했고 아울러 행사장에는 학과 맞춤형 현직자 직무 컨설팅, 진로·취업상담관, 취업 이벤트관 등 단과대학별 부스를 마련해 흥미롭고 다양한 프로그램도 진행됐다.
이번 행사에 참가한 박정후(융합산업공학과 4) 학생은 “모의 면접을 통해 취업준비 역량과 경쟁력을 강화하는 데 많은 도움을 받았다”면서 “취업에 성공하기 위해 어떤 점을 준비하고 보완해야 하는지에 대한 시야를 더욱 넓힐 수 있는 계기가 됐다”고 말했다.
이재현 대구대 창업지원단장은 “이번 취업매칭데이에 참여한 학생과 기업 관계자에게 감사드린다”며 “앞으로도 취업을 준비하는 학생과 고용을 희망하는 기업과의 매칭을 위해 아낌없이 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
