브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 송영길 더불어민주당 대표는 8일 "요소수 문제로 불편과 걱정을 끼쳐 송구스럽게 생각한다"며 "정부와 당은 긴급히 회의를 개최하고 이를 공유하면서 요소수 문제 해결을 위해 노력하고 있다"고 밝혔다.
송영길 대표는 이날 오전 국회에서 열린 선거대책위원회 회의에서 "저도 싱하이밍 중국대사를 만났고 이재명 후보도 소관 상임위원회 간사들과 긴급 회의를 했다. 정부도 이억원 기획재정부 1차관을 단장으로 해서 전방위적 노력을 하고 있다"며 이같이 말했다.
그는 "당장 호주에서 2만 리터, 적은 양이지만 모든 것을 하겠다는 자세로 공중급유기를 보내 수송했다"면서 "시급하고 중요한 소방용, 구급용, 필수차량등에 대해선 등 3개월치 보유분을 확보하고 있고 할당관세(관세 인하)도 조속히 시행할 것"이라고 설명했다.
이어 그는 "당에서도 베트남, 인도네시아, 카타르, 사우디라아라비아, 러시아 등에서 확보하기 위해 노력 중이다"라며 "일단 가장 가까운 중국에서 1만톤 정도의 통관을 대기하고 있다. 이것부터 풀어주면 한달 분 이상 확보가 되기 때문에 이를 긴급히 추진하고 있다"고 했다.
그러면서 "현재 한달분 정도의 비축분은 있다고 하는데 국민 여러분 일부가 이를 매점매석하지 않도록 철저히 점검해서 같이 나누고 시간을 벌어서 정부가 추가로 확보할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다"고 협조를 당부했다.
윤호중 원내대표는 "당에서는 이학영 단장을 중심으로 요소수 긴급대응 태스크포스(TF)를 원내에 구성했다"며 "정부와 긴밀히 협력해서 국민의 걱정과 불안을 덜겠다. 내연기관 중심의 에너지 체계를 수소와 전기 중심의 미래에너지로 속도감 있게 전환하는데도 당력을 집중하겠다"고 했다.

The party is also trying to secure customs clearance in Vietnam, Indonesia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Russia, he said. "First of all, we are waiting for customs clearance of about 10,000 tons in the nearest China." If we release this first, we will secure it for more than a month, so we are urgently pushing for it, he said.
He said, "There is currently about a month's stockpile, but we will do our best to ensure that some of the people do not bury it in the store, share it together, and make time for the government to secure additional stocks."
Yoon Ho-jung, floor leader, said, "The party has formed an emergency response task force (TF) centered on Lee Hak-young," adding, "We will work closely with the government to ease public concerns and anxiety." We will also focus our power on rapidly converting the energy system centered on internal combustion engines into future energy centered on hydrogen and electricity, he said.
