경일대학교(총장 정현태) 링크플러스(LINC+)사업단이 ‘2021년 1인 크리에이터 동영상 콘텐츠 경진대회’에서 대상을 수상했다.
지난달 교육부가 주최하고 한국연구재단이 주관한 ‘2021년 1인 크리에이터 동영상 콘텐츠 경진대회’에서 경일대 LINC+사업단이 ‘지역사회 공헌 참여 및 활동 분야’ 주제로 한 영상 콘텐츠로 대상을 수상했다고 밝혔다.
이번 경진대회는 학생들의 창의적 역량 강화 활동 및 지역 경제 활성화를 위해 마련되었다.
대회에 참가한 학생들은 △산학협력 체험 및 홍보 분야 △특화교육 과정 이수 및 성과 분야 △지역사회 공헌 참여 및 활동 분야 등 3가지 주제로 동영상 콘텐츠를 제작하였으며 14개 대학에서 41명이 참여 했다.

경일대에서는 총 5명의 학생이 참여하였으며 김예진 학생(시각디자인전공 4학년)이 ‘지역사회 공헌 참여 및 활동 분야’로 대상을 수상했다.
동영상은 쓰레기로 인한 환경오염을 주제로 동물 캐릭터를 활용하여 동물들이 겪고 있는 고통을 표현하고 영상 속 주인공과 동물 캐릭터들이 함께 분리수거를 하며 더 밝은 미래로 나아간다는 내용을 담고있다.
김예진 학생은 “이번 경진대회를 통해 환경에 대해 생각하는 계기가 되었다”며 “우리 모두의 노력을 통해 영상에 있는 주인공들처럼 아름다운 변화를 맞이할 수 있다는 생각이 들었다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
경일대 링크플러스(LINC+)사업단 김현우 단장은 “작년 우수상에 이어 이번 경진대회에서 지역 사회 공헌 참여 및 활동 분야로 대상을 수상하게 되어 매우 기쁘고, 앞으로도 산학연계 교육과정 운영을 위해 노력할 것”이라며 “학생들도 함께 성장해 나갈 수 있도록 적극적으로 지원할 것이다”고 말했다.

Last month, at the ‘2021 One-Man Creator Video Content Contest’ hosted by the Ministry of Education and organized by the National Research Foundation of Korea, Kyungil University’s LINC+ project team announced that it had won the grand prize for its video content under the theme of ‘Regional community contribution participation and activities’.

The students who participated in the competition produced video contents under three themes: △industry-university cooperation experience and public relations △specialized education course completion and achievements △community contribution participation and activities. 41 people from 14 universities participated.
A total of 5 students participated in Kyungil University, and Yejin Kim (4th year visual design major) won the grand prize in the field of 'Community Contribution Participation and Activities'.
The video uses animal characters as the theme of environmental pollution caused by garbage to express the pain that animals are experiencing, and the main character and animal characters in the video collect garbage together and move forward to a brighter future.
Ye-jin Kim, a student, said, "This contest gave me an opportunity to think about the environment. Through all of our efforts, I felt that we could face a beautiful change like the main characters in the video."
Kim Hyun-woo, head of Kyungil University's Link Plus (LINC+) project group, said, "I am very happy to receive the grand prize in the field of community contribution participation and activities in this contest following last year's Excellence Award.
