대구 영진전문대학교(총장 최재영)가 적극적인 산학협력으로 뷰티융합과 학생들의 진로 개척을 위해 나섰다.

영진전문대가 내년도 개설할 뷰티융합과는 학생들에게 양질의 일자리를 제공하기 위해 최근 뷰티분야 중 취업 선호도가 높은 병원코디네이터 취업처의 한 곳인 서울 강남구 소재 전문 성형외과와 맞춤형 주문식교육 산학협력 협약을 체결했다.
산학협약을 맺은 PR성형외과(원장 노경환)는 눈,코 성형분야 등에 전문 병원으로 알려져 있어, 뷰티융합과 졸업생들에게 병원 코디네이터 진로 확보에 많은 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.
이달 초에는 동국대학교 경주캠퍼스 간호대학 뷰티메디컬학과와도 이 대학교 3학년으로 무시험 연계교육 편입학을 위한 협약을 체결했다.
이를 통해‘뷰티융합과’졸업생들은 동국대학교 뷰티메디컬학과에 연계교육 편입학해 의료경영 전문지식, 글로별 역량을 아우르는 학위과정을 거쳐 뷰티메디컬 전문가로 성장할 수 있게된다.
이대섭 입학지원처장은 “내년도 학과를 개설하지만 향후 졸업생들이 선호하는 취업처를 조기에 발굴, 확보하고 특히 의과대학, 한의과대학, 간호대학을 모두 갖춘 명문사학인 동국대학교에 연계교육 편입학 길을 열며 뷰티전문 인재 양성에 힌 발 앞서가게 돼 기대가 크다”고 말했다.
