대구한의대, 대구경북 LINC+ 극한환경 드론 경진대회 대상 휩쓸어

대구한의대학교(총장 변창훈) LINC+ 창의융합동아리 Flying HAANY팀(지도교수 권구명)이 제2회 대구경북 LINC+ 극한환경 드론 경진대회에 참가해 단체전과 개인전 모두 대상을 수상하는 쾌거를 이뤘다.

지난 9일 개최된 이번 대회는 대경권 LINC+대학 연합프로그램으로 최근 4차 산업혁명시대의 대표기술인 드론산업 발전과 활성화를 위해 LINC+사업 참여 대학 재학생을 대상으로 영남대학교 LINC+사업단이 주최했다.

대회는 오전 일반과정 평가와 오후 특수과정 평가 및 번외경기로 진행되었으며, 경운대, 경일대, 계명대, 대구대, 대구한의대, 안동대, 영남대 등 7개 대학이 참여했다.

대구한의대학교의 창의융합동아리 Flying HAANY팀(조찬근, 응우옌 티 비, 손미주, 최윤정 학생)은 일반과정과 특수과정 평가에서 1위를 차지하여 대상을 수상했다.

아울러 Flying HAANY팀의 손미주 학생은 개인전으로 치루어진 번외경기에서도 안티드론회피상(1위)을 수상하며 우수한 성적을 거두었다.

Flying HAANY팀장 조찬근(실버스포츠학과 4학년)학생은 “LINC+사업단의 드론 교육과정, 연습경기 과정을 팀원들과 함께 할 수 있어 즐거웠고, 잘 따라와 준 팀원들에게 고마움이 크다”며 “이번 대회를 계기로 우리 대학 창의융합동아리에도 많은 학생들이 관심을 가지고 함께 해주면 좋겠다”고 수상소감을 밝혔다.

한편 대구한의대학교 LINC+사업단 박수진 단장은 “대회 참가를 통해 학생들이 4차산업 관련 신기술에 대한 이해와 활용에 대해 직접적으로 많이 배울 수 있을 것이라고 생각했는데, 작년 우수상에 이어 올해 대상까지 수상하게 되어 매우 기쁘다”며, “드론 뿐 아니라 AI/IoT 및 메타버스 등을 중심으로 한 활용도 높은 교육 프로그램의 확대 운영을 통하여 4차산업 분야 융복합 인재 양성에 기여할 수 있도록 하겠다”고 말했다.

The competition consisted of a general course evaluation in the morning, a special course evaluation in the afternoon, and extra-curricular competitions, and 7 universities including Kyungwoon University, Kyungil University, Keimyung University, Daegu University, Daegu Haany University, Andong University, and Yeungnam University participated.

The Flying HAANY team (Cho Chan-geun, Nguyen Thi B, Son Mi-joo, and Choi Yun-jeong), a creative convergence club at Daegu Haany University, won the grand prize by taking first place in the evaluation of general and special courses.

In addition, Mi-Joo Sohn of the Flying HAANY team won the Anti-Drone Evasion Award (1st place) in her solo competition, and achieved excellent results.

Flying HAANY team leader Chan-geun Cho (4th year Silver Sports Department) student said, “It was fun to be able to participate in the drone training course and practice game of the LINC+ project with the team members, and I am very grateful to the team members who followed well.” I hope that many students will take an opportunity to join our university’s creative convergence club with interest.”

Meanwhile, Park Soo-jin, head of Daegu Haany University's LINC+ project team, said, "I thought that students would be able to directly learn a lot about understanding and application of new technologies related to the 4th industry through participation in the competition. He said, “We will contribute to nurturing convergence talent in the 4th industry by expanding and operating not only drones, but also highly useful educational programs centered on AI/IoT and metaverse.”
