경북교육청(교육감 임종식)은 ‘우리 반 희망 사다리 교실’을 운영을 통해 학습결손 해소에 나선다.
경북교육청은 모든 교육력을 집중하여 코로나19로 인한 학습, 심리·정서 등 결손을 적극적으로 극복하고 학교가 일상을 되찾기 위한 교육회복 대책으로 ‘우리 반 희망사다리 교실’을 운영한다고 25일 밝혔다.

국가시책사업 특별교부금 122억 중 104억원 예산을 집중 투입한‘우리 반 희망 사다리 교실’은 학습결손 해소를 위한 교과보충 집중 프로그램으로 초ㆍ중ㆍ고 562교 5,542학급에 운영한다.
‘우리 반 희망 사다리 교실’은 교사의 자발적인 참여를 기반으로 하며 기초학습이 부족한 학생뿐만 아니라 학습보충을 희망하는 모든 학생을 포함하여 운영한다.
해당 프로그램은 학생 수준 등을 고려해 소규모(3~5명), 중규모(10명 내외 등) 등 다양하게 구성하며 집중 지원이 필요한 학생이 있는 경우 1:1 편성도 가능하다.
임종식 교육감은 “학습결손을 겪는 학생뿐 만 아니라 모든 학생들에 대한 실질적 교육기회 확대를 통해 코로나19로 인한 교육결손 회복에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
