대구대학교(총장 김상호) TECH-DREAM 실전문제연구단이 엑스코어 페스티벌에서 수상자를 배출했다.
과학기술정보통신부가 주최하고 한국연구재단 및 엑스코어협의회에서 주관하는 엑스코어 페스티벌이 올해 제5회를 맞이한 가운데 지난 26일 온·오프라인으로 개최되었다.

해당 행사는 국내 대학에서 출전한 이공계 인재들의 연구성과를 겨루는 경진대회로 대구대 공과대학 E-라운지에서 온라인 이원화 생중계로 진행됐으며, 연구단에서 사전 선발된 테드팀, 진주인재팀, 안전제일팀 총 3개 우수연구팀이 참가했다.
이번 대회에서 진동찬·김기현·김현주 학생(기계공학전공 4)으로 구성된 테드팀(지도교수 이동활)은 트리밍 유압프레스 설계에 관한 연구로 한국연구재단이사장상을 받았다. 이와 함께 다른 두 팀은 장려상으로 엑스코어사업단협의회장상을 받았다.
김현주 학생은 “연구주제로 팀원과 협업하고 소통함으로써 전국대회에서 수상해 무척 기쁘다”며 “이번 대회 준비를 통해 배운 문제해결능력은 매우 값진 경험이었다”고 말했다.
윤재웅 대구대 사업단장은 “학생들이 직접 수행한 과제로 전국대회에서 경쟁해 좋은 결과를 얻어 자랑스럽고 기쁘며 각 참여팀의 지도교수님, 산업체 멘토님들에게도 감사의 뜻을 전한다”면서 “앞으로도 학생들의 연구역량 향상을 위해 지원하고 현장 밀착형 창의인재 양성을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
