전국대학생패션연합회 대구경북지부, 패션 페스티벌 개최

전국대학생패션연합회 대구경북지부(이하, O.F.F)가 대학생 디자이너들의 작품을 선보이는 패션 페스티벌을 개최한다.

대구 지역 대학생들(경북대학교, 대구가톨릭대학교, 계명대학교)과 전국대학생패션연합회 대구경북지부(이하, O.F.F) 지부원들이 함께 의기투합하여 개최하는 이번 페스티벌은 오는 11일 토요일 오후 5시 대구 북구에 위치한 패션디자인개발지원센터에서 진행될 예정이다.

이날 행사는 코로나19의 장기화로 창구를 잃은 대구경북의 대학생 디자이너들이 역량을 선보일 수 있는 오프라인 패션쇼로 준비되었다.

특히 이번 행사에서 OFF 지부원들은 'OFFICE LIFE'을 주제로, 'Office'가 가지는 일반적인 이미지에서 벗어나 Office에 대한 대학생 디자이너들의 상상과 이상을 담아 자유롭게 표현했다고 설명했다.

어려운 환경 속에서도 학생들의 적극적인 참여가 이어지는 가운데 준비된 이번 행사는 얼어붙은 코로나19의 상황에 활기를 불어넣을 것으로 기대되고 있다.

아울러 O.F.F는 '패션에 대한 고정관념을 깨자' 라는 관념을 바탕으로, 다채롭고 색다른 패션쇼를 연출할 뿐만 아니라 이를 바탕으로 대구경북 지역 관내 각종 기관, 사기업들과 연계하여 보다 완성도 있는 행사를 만들기 위해 노력하고 있다고 전했다.

O.F.F 대구경북지부 김동희 지부장(경북대학교, 의류학과 4학년 재학)은 “지난 1년 간 준비해온 노력의 결과물을 공유하는 기회가 생겨서 기대된다”면서 “행사를 기점으로, 지역 내 청년 디자이너들이 자신의 재능을 선보일 수 있는 장이 구축되어 섬유패션의 도시라는 대구시의 슬로건의 명맥이 이어지길 바란다”는 입장을 밝혔다.
